A Portuguese brand born in 2018. Fruit of the passion of its creator for dogs and fruit of the desire to be able to add to this passion the know how of the Portuguese way of handcrafting. There was a dream of exalting and caressing our pets and the love they give us. Thus, joining the dream to the refinement and quality of Portuguese and other quality materials, natural unique and noble as cork, Cork4Pets was born. The detail and quality are a constant concern. Each piece is handcrafted with love, time and due attention.
The perseverance and the dream of making Cork4Pets Portugal an ambassador around the world, with respect to authenticity, to what is genuine and to the Portuguese knowledge of "doing by hand", are the objectives of its creator.

WHY TO USE CORK
Cork is a rare and special gift from Nature !
Cork is the bark of the cork oak (Quercus Suber), a noble tree that grows in the Mediterranean regions, especially in Portugal, and which allows cork to be removed every decade. It is extracted from cork oaks without ever harming the normal development of the species and without damaging the tree. The first extraction of cork occurs, usually, when the tree reaches between 25 and 30 years, and the extraction occurs in the months of June to August. From the first withdrawal, the cork is extracted every nine years.
Cork has numerous special and unique qualities , very light, waterproof, biodegradable, remarkably resistant to friction and an excellent thermal insulation. Antistatic and hypoallergenic.
It is a raw material 100% natural and environmentally friendly that has been taking over the history of the most diverse uses and applications. Being 100% reusable and 100% recyclable the extracted cork is used in 100% having a range of applications and attributes that no technology has, until today, been able to imitate, match or surpass.
It is a product that has a unique touch that will allow both the animal and the owner different and comfortable sensations.
